Virginia Lawrence (Peterson) Schultz, passed away on Saturday, in Aurora, Illinois. She was born on May 24, 1930
in Evanston, Illinois, the daughter of Harold J. Peterson and Virginia Lawrence Peterson.
Virginia grew up in Plano, Illinois, where she attended the public grammar and secondary schools. During her high school years, Virginia participated in many extracurricular activities including theater, choir, and student council. In her senior year she was elected May Queen for the school?s annual May Day Festival. In 1947 she and her husband Lewis Schultz were divorced after ten years of marriage. Virginia spent her adult years as a resident of Aurora, IL.
Virginia is survived by her brother, John D. (Joan) Peterson of Barrington, Illinois; her nieces, Lee Ann Foley of San Antonio, Texas, Joan Mary Pagliai of Barrington, Illinois, and Mary Clare Peterson of West Lafayette, Indiana; her nephew John L. Peterson of Cheyenne, Wyoming; three grandnieces and two grandnephews; and her great grandnephew and two great grandnieces. She is also survived by her dear friends, Betty Kandel of Aurora and Darlene Fanning of Plano, IL.
Virginia will be interred with her parents in a private ceremony.
