Virginia A. Luedtke

Virginia A. Luedtke, age 75 of Sheridan, IL passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, IL. She was born in Arkansas on June 22, 1947 the daughter of Oscar and Lois (McIntyre) Marcum.

Virginia was united in marriage on September 4, 1965 to Robert J. Luedtke Jr. and they spent the next 56 years happily together until his passing on March 2, 2022.  She was employed for many years as a Real Estate Agent and had served for over 40 years as a member of the National Board of Realtors. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Virginia is survived by her children, Mark (Kristen) Luedtke of Sugar Grove, IL, Margaret (Michael) Dillon of Varna, IL and Miriam (Justin) Becker of Leland, IL; her six grandchildren, Emma Luedtke, Robert Luedtke, Elizabeth (Ryan) Hassett, Matthew Dillon, Abbie (Russell) Doria and Christian Becker; her great-granddaughter, Ensley “Lorenzo” Hassett; her brother-in-law, Gregory Colandrea of Lockport, IL; and her beloved dog, Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Lois Marcum; her husband, Robert J Luedtke Jr.; and her sister, Gloria Colandrea.
