Thomas H. Trakszelis, age 58 of Aurora, IL passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He was born on July 6, 1965 in Naperville, IL the son of Patrick and Phyllis (Teal) Trakszelis.
Thomas was united in marriage on May 24, 1986 to Laurel Lowry and they spent the next 37 years happily together. Mr. Trakszelis was a proud Veteran of the United States Army. Thomas was a loving son, husband, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Laurel Trakszelis of Aurora, IL; his father, Patrick Trakszelis of Aurora, IL; his brothers, James (Rita) Cmolik of KY and Robert (Suzann) Cmolik of Peoria, IL; also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Trakszelis and his one sister, Patricia Williams.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1275 South Countyline Road, Sandwich, IL.
