Terri Sheffer

Terri E. Sheffer, age 48, of Oswego, IL, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. She was born on May 20, 1965 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Lannie D. and Joan (Catich) Sheffer.
Terri will be remembered as a kind and caring person who always put her family and friends first. She especially loved spending time camping and fishing with her son Jesse. Terri was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed caring for her two pet parrots. She was employed, for over 30 years, as a Service Manager by Jewel-Osco. Terri was a loving mother, devoted daughter, caring sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
She is survived by her son, Jesse Philipps, of Batavia, IL; her mother, Joan Sheffer, of Oswego, IL; her brothers, Brian Sheffer, of Yorkville, IL, and Scott (Tracey) Sheffer, of Sandwich, IL; her sister, Pam (Terry) Olson, of Sandwich, IL; her fianc?, Pete Hansford, of Batavia, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lannie Sheffer; and her sister, Paula Deann Stockham.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2013 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville.
A memorial fund for Terri will be established by her family.
