Rita Ann James, age 51 of Sandwich, IL, formerly of Big Rock, IL passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Sandwich Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Sandwich, IL. She was born on May 23, 1963 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Robert and Jacqueline (Smith) James.
Rita was formerly employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Aurora, IL. Years ago, Rita enjoyed riding her bike outside with her family and friends. She was a loving daughter and granddaughter who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her father, Robert James of Sandwich, IL.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline James; her grandparents; and her uncle, William James.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St., Hinckley, IL with Reverend Bill Riegle officiating.
Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel in Hinckley, IL.
