Richard Todd Popik was born January 28, 1992 in Oak Lawn, Illinois to Todd S. and
Arcangela Rose (Gilardi) Popik. Our beloved son passed away peacefully on Saturday,
February 25, 2023.

Richie was a loving, strong, devoted brother to his sister Christina Deanna Popik;
Richie loved and admired spending time with his ”Papa” Grandfather Peter Popik; Dear
Uncles Peter (Kim) Popik and Mark Popik; Cousin Scott Popik.

Richie was loved by so many as he shared that love back. Richie loved music, nature,
traveling, and most of all his family. Richie’s laughter and kindness was spread to all for
free. Our Son had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Richie
lived life to the fullness through simple pleasures and generous to a fault. Never wanting
more than he needed. Blessed to have had 31 amazing years with this precious child.

He was preceded in death by his loving Grandparents Deanna Popik and Richard
“Richie” Gilardi and Angela Gilardi; Great Grandparent Arcangela Carparelli “Nana”
Great Grandparents Peter and Grace Popik; Cousins Peter Popik VI and Steven Popik.

Richie’s beautiful life will live on forever to be cherished by his Family. Richie will be
deeply missed beyond belief but never forgotten
