Randy C. Weathers

Randy C. Weathers, age 56, of Sandwich, IL, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb, IL. He was on May 2, 1957 in Elgin, IL, the son of Cloyis and Patsy (Tomes) Weathers.

Randy was united in marriage on July 11, 1980 to Shirley Darlene Wilson and they spent the next 33 happy years together. Mr. Weathers was formerly employed at Burgess-Norton Manufacturing Company in Gevena, IL. He enjoyed nothing more than watching movies and going fishing with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Weathers of Sandwich, IL; his son, Randy C. Weathers Jr. of Mendota, IL; his three grandchildren, Brad, Nicholas, and Megan Crites; his sisters, Pamela Holden of Cortland, IL, and Patricia (Roger) Hamm of St. Charles; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cloyis and Patsy Weathers; and two sons, Jimmy and Edward Crites.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home and Crematory, 1275 S. Countyline Road in Sandwich, IL.
