Pearl Severyns

Pearl Severyns, age 94 of Big Rock, IL passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at her home. She was born on September 4, 1916 in Lublin, WI the daughter of Stephen and Ava (Scrip) Terlecki.
Pearl was united in marriage in 1941 to Mr. Albert Severyns and they spent the next 59 happy years together until his passing on October 13, 2000. Mrs. Severyns was formerly employed as a Salesperson at Sears Roebuck and Company in Chicago, IL. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Peter (Kathy) Severyns of San Antonio, TX and Daniel (Christine) Severyns of Big Rock, IL; her grandchildren, Katherine (Bryan) Sweeney of Montgomery, IL, Richard (Jana) Severyns of San Antonio, TX, Tom (Amanda) Severyns of San Antonio, TX and Susanna (Eddie) Harrison of San Antonio, TX; her nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Michael Terlecki of Pearidge, AR; as well as, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Ava Terlecki; her husband, Albert Severyns; and 1 grandson, Eric Severyns on January 27, 1991; as well as her nine siblings.
A Memorial Service for Pearl will take place at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St. in Hinckley, IL. Interment of cremains took place in the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
