Norma Jane Stanton

Norma Jane Stanton, age 68 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Friday, November 26, 2010 at her home. She was born on July 10, 1942 in Kitts, KY the daughter of Reed and Mary (Nick) Howard.
Norma was united in marriage in St. Charles, IL to Mr. Sankey ?Sam? Stanton and they have been happily married for 44 years. She was a homemaker who took pride in her family. Norma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by both her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Sam Stanton of Yorkville, IL; her daughters, Sandy (Rod) Aulis of Yorkville, IL, Stacey (Billy) Cordero of Elgin, IL and Samantha Koller of Arlington Heights, IL; her grandchildren, Chelsea, Carson and Chase Aulis, Billy Cordero Jr. and Brynn Koller; her siblings, Penny (Bob) Phipps of Maryville, TN, Terry (Carol) Howard of Killeen, TX, Tommy (Linda) Howard of Louisville, KY, Nancy (Irv) Durrow of St. Charles, IL and Gary Howard of Oregon, IL; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reed and Mary Howard; her brother, Bill Howard; and her niece, Landra Howard Knapp.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy in Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Au Sable Grove Cemetery, Yorkville, IL.
Friends may visit from 1:00 until 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
