Michael McDaniel

Michael L. McDaniel, age 56, of Yorkville, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at his home. He was born on January 3, 1953 in Evansville, Indiana, the son of Raymond and Beulah (Wilson) McDaniel.
Michael was united in marriage on February 6, 2005 to the former Robin Niswander, and they spent the next four happy years of their lives together. He was a former member of the Faith Evangelical Free Church in Moline, IL, and more recently attended the Orchard Valley Bible Church in Aurora, IL. Mr. McDaniel was employed, for 30 years, as a UPS Division Manager in Naperville. He was also a member of the H.O.G. Motorcycle Group. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Robin McDaniel, of Yorkville, IL; his children, Bryce McDaniel, of Moline, IL, Kelley McDaniel, of Scottsdale, AZ, and Cameron Vos, of Faribault, MN; his grandchildren, Emily, Callahan, Sullivan, and Lillian McDaniel, and Madeline McDaniel-Pulver; his step-father, Wilbur Carrico, of Mountain Home, AK; his brothers and sisters, Nicholas (Mary Ann) Vinson, of Indianapolis, IN, Steven (Patty) Carrico, of Dripping Springs, TX, Shane Carrico, of Rogers, AK, Kathy Carrico, of Mountain Home, AK, Shelly (Jim) Poffinbarger, of Mountain Home, AK, and Cheryl (Bryan) Gibbs, of Conway, AK; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Beulah McDaniel.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL, with Pastor Mike Kennedy officiating.
Friends may visit from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville.
