Michael L. Price, age 70, of Yorkville, IL passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2014 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on February 24, 1944 in Libertyville, IL the son of James Earl and Mary K. (Culp) Price.
Mr. Price was a Charter Member of Trinity Church United Methodist in Yorkville, IL. He was employed for many years by the City of Yorkville. Mike was a longtime volunteer of both the Bristol Kendall Fire Department and the Kendall County Food Pantry in Yorkville. He enjoyed attending Yorkville High School sporting events and spending time playing cards with his friends at the Beecher Center in Yorkville. Mike was a loving brother, uncle, great uncle, nephew, and cousin who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his brothers, James Donald (Judy) Price of St. Charles, IL and John “Jack” (Carol) Price of Yorkville, IL; his nephews, Scott Price of Geneva, IL, Jason Price of Batavia, IL, Kenton (Tanya) Price of Sheridan, IL, and Dane (Autumn) Price of Rolling Meadows, IL; as well as several great-nieces, great-nephews; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Kay Price.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 N. Bridge St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Yorkville, IL.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Sunday, October, 26, 2014 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
