Michael G. Buelow, age 53, of Plano, IL passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He was born on November 9, 1956 in Clinton, IA the son of Earl and June (Weber) Buelow.
Michael was a career solider for twenty years with the United States Navy before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed wood working and was planning to soon build his own home. He also enjoyed fixing cars and assembling model cars.
Mr. Buelow was united in marriage on February 14, 2003 to the former Miss Debra Dancy and they spent the next six happy years of their lives together. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and nephew who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Michael is survived by his wife, Debra Buelow, of Plano, IL, his daughter; Regina (Gregory) Nichols, of Genoa City, WI and his son S.P.C. Earl Buelow, serving with the United States Army at Fort Bliss, TX, his step-children; S.P.C. Phillip Tomaszewski, serving with the United States Army at Fort Hood, TX; Melissa Tomaszewski, of Calument City, IL; Tracy Tomaszewski, of Plano, IL; Erick Tomaszweski, of Highland, IN; and Nicolas Tomaszewski, of Alsip, IL, his grandchildren; Gabriel and Sean Nichols, his parents; Earl and June Buelow, of Lakeland, FL, his sisters; Laurie (Jeffrey) Heddinger, of Elida, OH and Debbie Krogmon, of Elk River, MN, as well as, many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his two sisters; Teresa Shadle and Mary Lynn Buelow, and his brother, Harold Buelow.
