Maxine M. Morsch, age 93, of Hinckley, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, IL. She was born on November 13, 1916 in Hinckley, IL, the daughter of Edward and Nora (Weilert) Myers.
Maxine was united in marriage on February 12, 1936, to Mr. Willard R. ?Woody? Morsch, and they spent many happy years of their lives together until his passing. Mrs. Morsch was a longtime member of St. Paul?s United Church of Christ in Hinckley, IL. She was employed, for 19 years, as the Head Cook of the Hinckley-Big Rock High School in Hinckley, IL. Maxine loved flowers, especially raising African Violets, and gardening. She was a loving, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie Keith, of Hinckley, IL, and Barry (Leah) Morsch, of Sugar Grove, IL; her grandchildren, Jeffery Keith, of Hinckley, IL, Rhonda (Dennis) Crofoot, of Sycamore, IL, Tim (Darcie) Dickerson, of Sugar Grove, IL, and Stephanie (Mike) Krintz, of Sun Prairie, WI; as well as her six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Nora Myers; her husband, Willard R. Morsch; her son, Larry Morsch; her brothers, Kenneth and Oakley Myers; and her sister, Lolita Myers.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel in Hinckley.
