Mary Jane Williams

Mary Jane ?Janie? Williams, age 81, of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Hillside Healthcare Center in Yorkville, IL. She was born on January 13, 1931 in Puposky, MN the daughter of Nathaniel and Lilian (Schwartz) Workman.

Mary Jane was united in marriage on December 26, 1952 to Mr. Walter Roger Williams and they spent the next 59 happy years together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Janie enjoyed sewing and crocheting and made many beautiful craft items for her family and friends. She also loved to read, was an avid gardener, and a talented baker. Janie was always willing to tackle any project around her home and will be remembered as her family?s dear ?Handy Lady?.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Williams of Yorkville; her children, Randall (Laura) Williams of Leland, IL, Reed (Bonnie Moore) Williams of Aurora, IL, and Robyn Williams of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Alicia (Heath) Jordal of Texas, Lisa (Mark) Lara of Montgomery, IL, and Tim (Crystal) Bank of Florida; her great grandchildren, Jenna O?Malley, Mark Lara, Haiden Jordal, and Avery Jordal; her sister Mona Panchot of Hibbing, MN; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nathaniel and Lilian Workman; her three brothers; and her five sisters.
