Mary Frances Thompson, 75, of Hinckley, IL., passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. She was born September 16, 1947, to Florence and Ernest Beschorner of Waterman. On September 10, 1966, she married Paul Thompson of Shabbona, IL. They were married 56 years and raised three sons.
Mary was a beautiful woman of integrity and generosity. She built her life around her love for Jesus Christ and her love for family and friends. She was very creative in all she did and painted many beautiful items for all her extended family and relations. She was an active member of the DeKalb Foursquare Church where she assisted in many areas such as singing, teaching, decorating, doing floral arrangements, and meal preparations. She worked for a time at More Polish Pottery in Big Rock, IL., and at H&R Block in Waterman, IL.
Surviving is her husband Paul of Hinckley, IL.; son John (Sandy) Thompson of Broken Arrow, OK; son Ron (Stephanie) Thompson of Tabernash, CO; and son Dan (Mandy) Thompson of Hinckley, IL. Grandchildren are Titus Thompson, Izaak (Mary) Thompson, Solomon Thompson, Joshua Thompson, and Faith Thompson. Great granddaughter is Valeria Thompson. Her two sisters are Cathy Geeslin and Rose Smalley of Fountain, CO.

Visitation will be from 1-2 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2022, at DeKalb Foursquare Church followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the DeKalb Foursquare Church, 210 Grove Street, DeKalb, IL.
