Mary B. Diaz, age 81, of Naperville, IL, formerly of Cicero, IL passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Manor Care Health Service in Naperville, IL. She was born in Brownsville, TX on September 12, 1927 the daughter of Guy and Lupe Briseno.
Mary was united in marriage in 1946 to Mr. Hilario Diaz and they spent many happy years together until his passing. She enjoyed crocheting and cooking for her family and friends. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Monica (Ron) Wells of Plano, IL; her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as her sister, Antonia Cuellar of Cicero, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Lupe Briseno; and her husband, Hilario Diaz.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy in Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
Friends may visit from 2:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
