Mae E. Frankenhauser, age 97 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009 at the Alden of Waterford in Aurora, IL. She was born on February 22, 1912 in Marseilles, IL the daughter of Einer J. and Anna (Thorsen) Eike.
Mae was united in marriage on April 21, 1932 to Mr. Milton E. Frankenhauser and they spent the next 45 happy years together until his passing. She and her husband Milton, for many years, owned and operated the Yorkville Furniture and Appliance Store in Yorkville, IL. Mrs. Frankenhauser was a longtime member of the First Lutheran Church in Plano, IL. Mae was, for many years, a member of both the Order of the Eastern Star and the Sons of Norway. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Susan (Don) Smith of Harvard, IL; her great-grandchildren, Matthew Smith of Harvard, IL and Alexis Albrecht of Sarasota, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Einer and Anna Eike; her husband, Milton Frankenhauser; her daughter, Barbara Ann; her grandson, Jeffrey; three sisters; and three brothers.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the First Lutheran Church, 200 N. Center Street in Plano, IL with Pastor Bruce Booher officiating.
