Madonna Irene Wasz

Madonna Irene Wasz, age 59 passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was born on August 10, 1963 in Oak Park, IL the daughter of Howard and Loretta (Lendabarker) Wasz.

Madonna was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville, IL. She was employed as a Surgical Technician for many years. Madonna was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.

Madonna is survived by her sons, Michael (Tristyn) Staal of CA and Gregory Staal of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Anna, Declan and Trace Staal; her siblings, Larry (Mary) Wasz of MN, Mary (Ken) Plunkett of MO, Therese (Tom) Follin of AZ, Linda (Paul) Rehor of IL, Ed (Lisa) Wasz of MN, Paula (Brian) Johnson of IL and Jeannine Schumaucher of AZ; also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Loretta Wasz.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 406 Walnut Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will take place at a later date in the St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Bristol, IL.

Friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL.
