Karen A Rogel

Karen A. Rogel, age 68, of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Countryside Care Centre in Aurora, IL with her daughter by her side. She was born on October 3, 1945 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Walter and Anna (Kleen) Yunker. She was a loving and very caring mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She had a very special group of close friends who meant a lot to her. She had a deep affection for dogs and humane societies. Her caring nature, thirst for knowledge and willingness to help those in need will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Jeff) Beitel of Hinckley, IL; her grandchildren, Kris Beitel and Jaime Beitel, both of Hinckley, IL; her brother, Ralph Yunker of New Lenox, IL; her sister, Doris Yunker of Mokena, IL; and a nephew, Michael (Shannon) Lashmet.. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Anna Yunker.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She preferred to be remembered for the person she was, the life she lived, and the memories she left behind.
