John W. Rybowicz, age 72 of Aurora, IL formerly of Little Rock and Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 23, 2023 at his home. He was born on February 19, 1950 in Aurora, IL the son of Walter and Lucille (Allaire) Rybowicz.
Mr. Rybowicz was a proud Veteran of the United States Marines Corps who served during the war in Vietnam. John was employed for many years as an estimator for a steel manufacturing company in Geneva, IL. He was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan. John was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sisters, Janet Frieders of Yorkville, IL, and Judy (Larry) Sweda of Waukegan, IL; as well as his six nephews and their families.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Lucille Rybowicz; and his brother-in-law, John Frieders.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL with Deacon Doug Wells officiating. Interment will be held in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Bristol, IL.
Friends may visit from 10:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Nelson Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
