Jeanne M. Wilson

Jeanne M. Wilson, age 77, of Yorkville, IL passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1944 in Watervliet, MI the daughter of Elmer and Ann (Sutter) Pumfery.

Jeanne was united in marriage to Herbert Wilson and they spent many years happily together until his passing in 1996. Mrs. Wilson was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville, IL. She was employed for many years a computer programmer. Jeanne was a loving wife, step-mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her step-children, Christine (Dave) Deichmueller of Low Point, IL, Brian (Vicki) Wilson of East Peoria, IL, Karen Warner of Mossville, IL, Anthony (Ann) Wilson of Yorkville, IL, Dodi (James) Young of Low Point, IL, and Pamela (Gary) Streitmatter of Peoria, IL; her 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Thomas (Jackie) Pumfery of Chicago, IL and Steve (Janice) Pumfery of Tinley Park, IL; her sisters-in-law, Theresa Wilson of Chicago, IL, Deloris Pumfery of Michigan, and Marilyn Wilson of Indiana; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ann Pumfery; her husband, Herbert Wilson; and her brothers, Larry Pumfery and Albert (Margaret) Pumfery.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 406 Walnut St., Yorkville, IL. Interment will take place in South Park Cemetery in Roswell, New Mexico.
