James Craig Myers

James Craig Myers, age 64 of Downers Grove, IL, formerly of Big Rock, IL, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He was born on July 23, 1950 in Aurora, IL the son of Richard and Marion (Veale) Myers.
Craig graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University in Aurora, IL. He was a former special education teacher and worked in retail sales for the furniture industry. Mr. Myers enjoyed spending time antiquing and was fond of music, classical movies, and family genealogy. He was a loving brother, uncle, and great uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother, Calvin (Jan) Myers of Aurora, IL; his niece, Jennifer (Steve) Aleckson of Sugar Grove, IL; his grandniece, Gracie; and his grandnephew, Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marion Myers.
Private services are being held in the West Big Rock Cemetery in Big Rock, IL.
