JakLynn Mann Johnson, age 87, of Yorkville, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at her home. She was born on May 10, 1924 in Morris, IL the daughter of Harry B. and Elma (Larson) Morrison.
JakLynn was united in marriage on January 19, 1945 to James Mann and they spent the next 33 happy years together until his passing on July 11, 1978. She was later united in marriage on November 10, 1979 to Ernest A. Johnson and they spent the next 26 happy years together until his passing on February 1, 2006. JakLynn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Johnson was a very active member, for many years, of the Plattville Lutheran Church in Minooka, IL. JakLynn was a former church organist as well as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Plattville Lutheran Women. She also taught the Women?s Bible Study Group at the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville, IL
She is survived by her son, Craig (Geri) Mann of Yorkville, IL; her son-in-law, Don (Sigrid) Davidson of Minooka, IL; her step-daughter, Kathy (Duane) Gruebele of Lake Zurich, IL; her grandchildren, Matt (Julie) Davidson, Mike (Andrea) Mann, Marc (Lisa) Davidson, Mindy (Marshall) Johnson, David (Jennifer) Mann, Joe (Megan) Mann, and Carl Gruebele; her 17 great grandchildren with one more soon to be; her sisters-in-law, Lois Morrison and Ruby Morrison; her niece, Ann (Mike) Koch; and nephews, Gary (Nancy) Morrison and Stephen (Sue) Morrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, James Mann; her second husband, Ernest Johnson; her daughter, Stephanie Davidson on October 30, 2007; her brothers, Jean Morrison and Bill Morrison; and a nephew, Dan Morrison.
