Howard Michael , MIKE Yundt

Howard Michael, MIKE, Yundt, Jr., age 71, of Plano, IL passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, IL. He was born on March 7, 1938 in Elmhurst, IL the son of Howard Michael and Charlotte (Thompson) Yundt, Sr.

Mike was united in marriage on June 27, 1964 to the former Barbara Reisle and they spent the next 45 happy years together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Mike was a 1956 graduate of Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL. He attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA. Mr. Yundt was a member of the Plano Christian Church in Plano, IL and actively attended the Oswego Presbyterian Church in Oswego, IL. Mike was an active member and Secretary of the Plano Lions Club. He was a member of the Sandwich Moose Club and the Golden Harvesters. Mike was an avid reader and enjoyed all sports, especially attending baseball games. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Yundt of Plano, IL; his children, Katherine (Scott Metzger) Plante of Yorkville, IL, Megan (Carsten) Popp of Chicago, IL, and Mark (Shannon Condon, Fianc?e) Yundt of Shorewood, IL; his grandchildren, Lindsey Plante, Cleary Armstrong, and Mason Popp; his brother, Jerry (Becky) Yundt of Alpharetta, GA; his sister, Shirley Anderson of Elgin, IL; his sister-in-law, LaVerne Reisle of Plano, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Michael and Charlotte Yundt, Sr.
