Helen B. Jeffers

Helen B. Jeffers, age 86, of Sandwich, IL, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2013. She was born on August 29, 1927 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Paul and Julia (Paku) Balogh.
Helen was united in marriage on October 25, 1947 to Mr. William F. Jeffers, and they spent 50 happy years of their lives together until his passing on November 24, 1997. Mrs. Jeffers was employed, for many years, as a secretary by the St. Charles High School. She enjoyed playing Bingo, as well as reading. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children, Sally (Fred) Chaffer, of Sandwich, IL, Connie Pfeiffer, of Sandwich, IL, William (Kathleen) Jeffers, of Newark, IL, and David (Sissy) Jeffers, of Montgomery, IL; her 13 grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Julia Balogh; her husband, William Jeffers; her brother, Paul Balogh, and her cat, Callie.
