Hazel M. Mueller, age 82 of Somonauk, IL passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at The Springs of Monarch in Naperville, IL. She was born in Berwyn, IL on July 6, 1940 the daughter of Gerhard and Gladys (Horn) Schuth.
Hazel was united in marriage on June 30, 1962 to Edmund Mueller and they spent the next 60 years happily together. Mrs. Mueller was a member of Cross Lutheran Church in Yorkville, IL. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Hazel is survived by her husband, Edmund Mueller of Somonauk, IL; her children, Robert Mueller of Berkley, IL and Cheryl Mueller of Aurora, IL; and her two grandsons, Joshua Haynes and Kyle Haynes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Gladys Schuth.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Cross Lutheran Church, 8609 Rt. 47, Yorkville, IL. with Pastor Erik Gauss, officiating. Interment will be private. Luncheon to follow service.
