Gerald Louis Motisi

Gerald Louis Motisi, age 62, of Hinckley, IL passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 26, 1947,the son of Tony and Laura (Walters) Motisi.
Gerald was united in marriage on August 11, 1990 to the former Miss Carol-Joy Marion Kennett and they spent the next 19 happy years together. Mr. Motisi served his country proudly with the United States Navy and the Coast Guard during both the Viet Nam War and Desert Storm. He was formerly employed, for 18 years, as a Stationary Engineer at Argon National Laboratory until his retirement. Gerry enjoyed fishing, boating and snow skiing. He was a loving husband, father and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Carol Motisi of Hinckley, IL; his son Eric Motisi of Hinckely, IL; his brother William (Sue) Motisi; his sisters, Patricia (Thomas) Tate of Bull Shoes, AR, Anita (Richard) Raymer of Hometown, IL and Maria (John) Wilkins of Minooka, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Laura Motisi and his brother, Frank Motisi.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 12760 E. Lee Rd. in Hinckley, IL with Pastor Donald Balgeman, officiating. Interment will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Hinckley, IL.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple St. in Hinckley, IL.
