Frank Cassese

Frank Cassese, age 87 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at his home. He was born in Chicago, IL on October 30, 1922 the son of John and Antonietta (Scala) Cassese.
Mr. Cassese proudly served his country with the United States Navy during World War II. In 1944, Frank was a Pitcher with the Chicago Cubs Baseball Team. He was formerly employed in the maintenance department of a hotel. Frank was a caring man who took care of his family. He was a loving son, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by both his family and friends.
He is survived by his brother, John Cassese of Addison, IL; his sister, Sylvia (Terry) Price of Sandwich, IL; as well as, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Antonietta Cassese; and his siblings, Theresa Rossi, Joseph Cassese and Flossie Perri.
