Eric A. Shanbrom

Eric A. Shanbrom, age 68 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Loyola University Medical Center in Hines, IL. He was born on Sept 5, 1955 in the Bronx, NY the son of Newton and Phyllis (Eichler) Shanbrom.

Eric was united in marriage on February 26, 2000 to Diane Parsons Barber and they spent the next 23 years happily together. Mr. Shanbrom was formerly employed as an Engineer by the Exelon Corporation in Oak Brook, IL. He was an avid and talented pool player. Eric was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed.

Eric is survived by his wife, Diane Shanbrom of Hinckley, IL; his children, Christopher Shanbrom of NY, Michael Barber of Woodstock, GA and Melissa Barber of Valdosta, GA; his sisters, Marcy (Ted) Mazer of Fort Myers, FL and Ivy (Paul) Dantico of NY; also two nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Phyllis Shanbrom.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
