A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel, 141 N. Maple Street, Hinckley, IL with Elder Dennis Ramer officiating. Interment will be private.
Douglas R. Burson, age 66 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Tuesday, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1945 in Aurora, IL the son of Douglas L. and Wilma (Ramer) Burson.

Douglas R. Burson, age 66 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Tuesday, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1945 in Aurora, IL the son of Douglas L. and Wilma (Ramer) Burson.
Douglas was united in marriage on October 20, 1987 to the former Mrs. Linda Quantz Wick and they spent the next 23 happy years of their lives together. For 34 years, Mr. Burson was employed by the United States Postal Service as a Letter Carrier. He was a member of both the NALC (National Association of Letter Carriers) and the American Motorcyclist Association. Douglas was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be missed by all that knew him.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Linda J. Burson of Hinckley, IL; his children, Douglas (Julie) Burson of Yorkville, IL and Amy Burson of Aurora, IL; his step-daughter, Sheri (Jim) Campbell of Sheridan, IL; his grandchildren, Dougie and Anna Burson, Gabriella, Michaela and Abbegail Campbell; and his sister, Sharon (Ray) Miller of Naperville, IL; as well as, two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas L. Burson, his mother, Wilma Burson Roge and his step-father, Paul Roge.

Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the Nash-Nelson Memorial Chapel in Hinckley, IL.
