David G. Rowland

David G. Rowland, age 67 of Waterman, IL passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his home.  He was born on January 25, 1956 in Chicago, IL the son of Ernest “Bill” and Laura “Jane” (Byrd) Rowland.

Dave was united in marriage on September 14, 1979 to Teresita Alisuag Garcia and they have spent the next 43 years happily together. Mr. Rowland was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served during the war in Vietnam. Dave was a journeyman electrician maintenance supervisor with Hytek Co. for many years. He loved to travel and spend time with his family.  Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who was the rock of the family, a great provider, and a wonderful man who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Dave is survived by his wife, Teresita Rowland of Waterman, IL; his daughter Geraldine Sandstrom of Delavan, Wi; his grandchildren, Glen, Genna, Giulianna, and Lenny; his sister, Billie (Rob) Becnel of New Orleans, LA; as well as two nephews.

He is preceded by his parents, Ernest “Bill” and Laura “Jane” Rowland; and his infant son, Christopher Rowland.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
