Christine E. Zukauski

Christine E. Zukauski, age 68 of Sandwich, IL passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her home. She was born on July 14, 1943 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Stephanie (Zbroinski) Mech.
Christine was united in marriage in 1960 to Mr. Louis Richard Zukauski and they spent the next 25 happy years together until his passing in 1985. Mrs. Zukauski was formerly employed at the Western Electric in West Chicago, IL. She was later employed at Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, IL. Christine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Christine is survived by her children, Marie Zukauski of Sandwich, IL, Joseph (Shannon) Zukauski of MI, Louis Zukauski of Sandwich, IL, Fredrick (Romaine) Zukauski of Hampshire, IL and Anthony Zukauski of Dyersburg, TN; her eight grandchildren; her twelve great-grandchildren; her three sisters, Arlene (Thomas) Lief of Alsip, IL, Connie Miley of Burbank, IL and Harriet Simonelli of Burbank, IL; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Stephanie Mech; her husband, Louis Richard Zukauski; and her brother, Walter Mech.
Friends may visit from 12:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 East Countryside Parkway in Yorkville, IL. Friends may visit again from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 Cermak Road in Westchester, IL.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 9, 2012 at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, Westchester, IL. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
