El sábado 10 de junio del 2023, Brenda López Marín, de 39 años, de Aurora, IL, falleció tranquilamente rodeada de su amada familia y amigos. Su espíritu de generosidad no conoció límites y en este día les regaló a todos su brillante valor y su fuerza silenciosa y serena.
Brenda nació el 8 de noviembre de 1983 en Torreón, Coahuila, México, la orgullosa hija de Damián López y Victoria Marín. El pequeño pueblo de Santa Rosa, Santa María del Oro, Durango fue testigo de sus primeros pasos. En sus primeros años de infancia se mudó con sus padres y hermanos a Aurora, Illinois, donde todos residen hasta el día de hoy.
Como la hermana menor, ocupa un lugar enorme en el corazón de la familia. Ella es el eslabón de oro entre el miembro mayor de la familia y las sobrinas y sobrinos más pequeños. Ella es atesorada como una tía cariñosa que estaba llena de amor y atención para todos. Incluso en sus días más difíciles, se presentó para sus seres queridos, siempre lista para ayudar y tan increíblemente fuerte. Sus sobrinas y sobrinos siempre la admirarán y mantendrán vivo su espíritu.
A Brenda le sobreviven sus padres, Damián y Victoria López; sus hermanos, Belén (Pablo) López De Vega, Raúl (Cristina) López Marín, Ernesto López Marín y Francisco López Marín; así como muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, tías, tíos y primos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus abuelos; y su hermano, Israel López Marín.
Brenda era una cariñosa hija, hermana, tía, prima, sobrina y amiga a quien todos los que la conocieron extrañarán profundamente.
Se llevará a cabo una misa fúnebre a las 10:30 a. m. el jueves 15 de junio de 2023 en la iglesia católica St. Therese of the Child Jesus, 271 North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, IL.
El entierro seguirá en el cementerio católico de Mt. Olivet, Aurora, IL.

On Saturday, June 10, 2023, Brenda Lopez Marin, 39, of Aurora, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends. Her generosity of spirit knew no bounds and on this day she gifted everyone her bright courage and peaceful strength.
Brenda was born on November 8, 1983 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico the proud daughter of Damian Lopez and Victoria Marin. The small town of Santa Rosa, Santa Maria del Oro, Durango was witness to her first steps. In her early childhood years she moved with her parents and siblings to Aurora, Illinois, where they all reside to this day.
As the youngest sibling, she holds an enormous place within the heart of the family. She is the golden link between the oldest member of the family and the youngest nieces and nephews. She is treasured as a caring aunt who was full of love and attention for everyone. Even on her toughest days, she showed up for her loved ones, always ready to help and so incredibly strong. Her nieces and nephews will always look up to her and keep her spirit alive.
Brenda is survived by her parents, Damian and Victoria Lopez; her siblings, Belen (Pablo) Lopez De Vega, Raul (Cristina) Lopez Marin, Ernesto Lopez Marin, and Francisco Lopez Marin; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her brother, Israel Lopez Marin.
Brenda was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, 271 North Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, IL. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL.
