Betty J. Hall

Betty E. Hall, age 94, of Rockford, IL passed away at her home on Sunday, March 5, 2023. She was born on June 26, 1928 in La Crosse, WI the daughter of Ernest and Amelia (Michel) Ortmeier.

Betty was united in marriage to William Martin Hall and they spent many years happily together until his passing in 1988. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Kathleen (Gary) Spatafora of Rockford, IL; Karen (Francisco) Reynoso of Plano, IL, John Hall of Rockford, IL, and Donald Hall of Rockford, IL; her five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren; her brothers, Jerry Ortmeier and Robert Ortmeier, both of La Crosse, WI; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Amelia Ortmeier; her husband, William Hall; her sons, William Hall and Edward Hall; one sister; and two brothers.

Graveside services will take place at 9:00 AM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in the Riverside Cemetery in Genoa, WI.
