Bertram Eugene Law

Bertram Eugene Law, age 79, of Somonauk, IL passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born on August 27, 1932 in Sterling, IL the son of Clifford and Sylvia (Brown) Law.

Mr. Law was united in marriage on May 31, 1958 in Plattville, IL to the former Loretta Johnson and they spent the next 53 happy years together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great great-grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Mr. Law was a member of the Leland United Methodist Church in Leland, IL. Bertram served his country proudly as a member of the United States Air Force. He was employed, for forty years, as an Electrical Engineer with GTE-Verizon, until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Law of Somonauk, IL; his sons, Darrell E. Law of Sandwich, IL, Dale A. (Cynthia nee, Fyhrie) Law of Sheridan, IL, and Duane L. Law of Yorkville, IL; his grandchildren, Clayton Law and James Lies, Daphne Fiene and Christina Lies; his six great grandchildren; and a great-great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Sylvia Law.

Friends may visit from 1:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy., Yorkville, IL.

Graveside Services and Interment will be private.
