Audrey A. Ohlson, age 93, of Yorkville, IL passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, IL. She was born on March 30, 1916 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bendien.
Audrey was united in marriage to Mr. Marvin Ohlson and they spent many happy years together until his passing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Karl Ohlson of Yorkville, IL and Al (Judy) Ohlson of Mendota, IL; her four grandchildren, Michael Ohlson, Ellen (Patrick) Baker, Troy (Wendy) Ohlson and Karl Ohlson; her seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Derek, Clayton, Grant, Dylan, Baylee and Claire; as well as her sister, Connie Back of Aurora, IL
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Ohlson; her daughter, Sandra Ohlson; and her sister, Wilma Swenson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 410 E. Countryside Pkwy in Yorkville, IL with Pastor David Kaul, officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Clarendon Hills, IL.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
