Andrew Jake Joseph Wargo, age 72, of Muncy Valley, PA., and of Yorkville, IL., passed away on Wed., Sept. 16, 2009 at his daughters home. He was born in Shenandoah, PA., on April 10, 1937 the son of Andrew F. and Anna (Kruhelsky) Wargo.

Andrew Jake Joseph Wargo, age 72, of Muncy Valley, PA., and of Yorkville, IL., passed away on Wed., Sept. 16, 2009 at his daughters home. He was born in Shenandoah, PA., on April 10, 1937 the son of Andrew F. and Anna (Kruhelsky) Wargo.
Mr. Wargo was employed for years as an Iron Worker in the construction industry and was a member of Local #393. He was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church in Orefield, PA., and a former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Yorkville, IL., as well as, a Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree. Andrew was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of both the Yorkville American Legion Post #489 and the Hughesville PA, Highland Lake 40 + 8. Andrew enjoyed recalling to his family and friends that in 1946 and 1947, he was a member of the very first championship Little League World Series baseball team in Williamsport PA. Mr. Wargo was a past member of several Moose Lodges. Andrew was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by both his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Diana Wargo of Sandwich, IL, Cheryl (John) Albarran of Yorkville, IL and Angela Wargo of Sandwich, IL; his three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jordan and Derrick Albarran; his siblings, Anna (Mike) Kawa, Regina Phillips, John (Dorothy) Wargo, Monsignor Robert Wargo, Steven (Linda) Wargo, Julie Dee and Richard (Elaine) Wargo; his 2 sisters-in-law, Margaret Wargo and Patricia Wargo; the mother of his daughters, Beverly (J.Ray) Schneider; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Anna Wargo; his brothers, Michael and Daniel Wargo; his 2 nephews; and his 2 brothers-in-law.
