Alex Timothy Jensen

Alex Timothy Jensen, age 25 of Plano, IL passed away unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident on Monday, September 30, 2013. He was born on June 11, 1988 in Morris, IL the son of Timothy R. and Carol M. (Bretthauer) Jensen.
Alex was a 2006 graduate of Plano High School who excelled in sports, playing football, basketball and baseball. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting on his grandparents farm. Alex taught himself to play the guitar which he greatly enjoyed. He was a kind-hearted and caring guy who was loved by everybody who knew him. Alex so loved spending time with his little nephew, Gavin Ratos. Alex was a loving son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew and cousin who will be deeply missed by his family and many, many friends.
Alex is survived by his parents, Tim and Carol Jensen of Plano, IL; his sisters, Jennifer (Jimmy) Ratos of Yorkville, IL and Ryann (Jim) Bowen of Yorkville, IL; his nephew, Gavin Ratos; his maternal grandparents, Clarence ?Bud? and Jackie Bretthauer of Plano, IL; his aunts and uncles, Lori (Jim) Stanton, Julie (Dale) Bladow, Randy (Karen) Jensen, Debbie (Carl) Christensen and Christine (Kurt) Bodendorfer; as well as fourteen cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Peter ?Poppa? and Helen ?Bocka? Jensen.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the Larson-Nelson Funeral Home, 1010 West South Street in Plano, IL. Interment will follow in the Little Rock Cemetery in Plano, IL.
Friends may visit from 3:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Funeral Home in Plano, IL.
