Therese Saxelby
Of Milwaukee, formerly of Fontana
Therese Saxelby was born October 15, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Beatrice (Healy) McGreal. She passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at St. Camillus in Milwaukee.
Therese was a tremendous individual, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived her life always looking for the positive in everyone and everything. She was caring, open minded and was a life-long learner who was “ up for anything “ who rarely sat still because she had a need to get as much out of every day as she could. Therese had an elegance about her that was never promoted by her, it was just something those that interacted with her could see and feel. Therese Saxelby definitely made this world a better place for having been in it.
Therese is survived by her children Bill (Pam) Saxelby, Sharon Saxelby, Kathy Vetter, and Tom (Lisa) Saxelby; grandchildren Bill (Megan) Saxelby, Megan (Max) Kirchoff, Mike Moran, Shannon (John) Goodrich, David (Lindsey) Cavalier, Valerie Vetter, Hans Vetter, Jackie (Matt) Boos, Tyler Saxelby, Ryan Saxelby, and Isabella Saxelby; grandson-in-law Patrick Martins; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Saxelby; granddaughter Anne Saxelby-Martins; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
